Perilla Visual Review

Brunch at Perilla Restaurant, opened in 2007 by Harold Dieterle, the winner of the first season of Top Chef.

Complimentary corn cranberry muffins

Corn Flake Crusted Brioche French Toast with sweet mascarpone butter & vanilla-bourbon maple syrup

Spicy Duck Burger with jack cheese, avocado & spiced fries
Tender, flavorful burger, but the bun much was much too puffy and impossible to eat. Good crispy fries.

Poached Organic Eggs with homemade english muffin, smoked salmon & red onion soubise
My dining companion who ordered this criticized it as being too rich. It made her regret ordering the grits as a side.

  1. Oooh the eggs look AMAZING - but a good reminder that it's better to order the Hollandaise on the side. The brunch looks delicious. It's been years since I had dinner here...
