I don't know how it escaped me, but July was National Ice Cream Month! Ronald Reagan designated it so in 1984. Zagat.com offers suggestions on where to get some unusual ice cream flavors around the country while Saveur has recipes for crazy concoctions you can make at home. Momofuku's Milk Bar is serving soft serve ice cream in BBQ and creamed corn flavors.
